i thot i nearly lost the keychain jst now. i searched frantically and retraced my steps (from where i sat to 7-11) up and down many times like some lunatic. i was thinking of how to explain to them had i really lost it. it's the 2nd time alr. 1st time accidental. ok, still accepted. 2nd time?

it got me thinking whether thr was any special reason behind the "loss". will i feel the same way if what it represents is really gone? yes, i knw it's jst a keychain, but it wasnt any keychain. it represented each one of us, bonded tgt, nvr separated. but is it really the case now?

during the time i was searching frantically for the keychain, i suddenly recalled an incident: during my secondary sch days, i was nvr responsible for my belongings. maybe cos i was over-reliant on the ppl around me to help me keep a lookout as well. i only worried when i really lost my wallet and hp. the first time it happened was when i left it atop the toilet roll in the toilet and forgot abt it till 5mins later when i returned and boo! it was gone. i got pretty upset and my mum totally screamed at me. i went to the police but still no news. it was pretty tedious having to tend to all the admin stuff (hp sim card, getting a new wallet and hp etc) and i firmly told myself to forever be careful of my belongings.

from then on, i became more careful but still not to a great extent. maybe God felt i didnt learn much from the lesson and was becoming more complacent. i lost my wallet the 2nd time on the bus. i rmbed the same frantic i felt the first time, but it was more of a wake-up call this time round. thankfully, after many many prayers, tkgs GO suddenly called me and told me some kind souls picked it up and went to the school PERSONALLY to return to it. (bless the couple who did so. =D) oh my, it was totally sunshine after rain. from then onwards, i really took great care of my belongings and am proud to say i've not lost any wallet/hp to date =) it was really a wake up call the 2nd time ard.

today marks the 2nd time i nearly "lost" the keychain. thank God, i found it inside my bag when i returned to hall. i really hope tht i wont lose it ever again, becos it really means alot to me. i knw in any form of r/s, there's bound to be quarrels, disagreements etc. and im glad we managed to get over it every time. i really really hope tht we'll carry on this meaningful and irreplaceable friendship for many yrs to come. it's been 5 yrs (and more for u all) and we start to take each other for granted (it's human nature) but i really hope tht regardless of what happens, we'll tolerate each other's nonsense and continue sticking for each other =) cos each one of us can nvr be replaced. =D
