Been busy with lots of stuff since exam ended. Hectic life but surprisingly my pimples are gone, ok at least most are gone =D
26th November
Exams are over, like finally.. Although I screwed up big time. Everything I've studied didn't come out. How awesome is that? Nicole, Candee and I went toilet to stone half the time. Lol. But who cares, exams are finally over. Liberation is so sweet. Packed my stuff in hall and went to chiong myanmar stuff.
27th to 29th NovemberProject Smile Retreat @ Goldkist! =D Awesome 3d2n where I formulated lots of potential scandals! :P Haha. Lots of discussions using mahjong paper stuck to the walls, goal orientation, instructions and of cos the fun part! Overnight cycling, BBQ, Darren's belated bday surprise, team dynamic games. Not forgetting nice food like BBQ, Changi Village Nasi Lemak, East Coast Hawker Centre and Robert's wife's meringue! First time tasting meringue and yes it is diabetes-inducing. Laughter and fun throughout =)
Some interesting things :
1) There was a nice big tree in front of our chalet which Guan calls it our "nice view". Lol.
2) We went ahead with YY's suggestion to turn right when we crossed the underpass. Just as we passed by the lighthouse which is 32982348 miles away from Goldkist, the gay partners shouted: " I think we're going the wrong direction. " Gah, had every intention to throw the 3 guys into the sea at that moment. Reached Goldkist at 5+pm when we were supposed to meet at 3pm.
3) East Coast Hawker Centre dinner for the first night. Darren was babbling away before his food came and when his satay beehoon arrived, he didn't talk anymore. Haha, shows how good the satay beehoon is! =)
4) Role play was funny ttm! We were supposed to act as people from Timbatoo who were welcoming students from Singapore. My role was to act as a 2nd mediator who could speak Timbatoo language and Mandarin. In other words, I acted as a Chinese refugee who had gone to "squat" in Timbatoo.
5) Night cycling during the 2nd night. Tandem biked with Wan Ting and it was freaking fun =) Even though we think that Thu Linn will never want to go anywhere else with us without Mike the slacker =)
6) We learnt that Mike likes to eat chicken so much he created his final year project themed "Chicken" =P
7) Team dynamic game : Transporting an egg the furthest. My team's egg became an illegal immigrant buried under the rubbish. Haha. And there was a balloon sticking behind it cos our illegal immigrant liked his balloon so much he had to bring it along when he migrated. Had fun stealing things from the other team =P And before the game started, we had to sit still and think for 3 minutes, something which none of us could manage! Lol. Sk said: "No wonder our students can't sit still. " Lol.
